T-1000: The Thing That Should Not Be

Subject: T-1000 Needs a Refill โ€“ Telomere Science Inquiry

Dear Ms. Sawyer,

I caught your report on telomere science, and I have to askโ€”how real is it? Because if itโ€™s legit, Iโ€™m interested.

You see, thereโ€™s a part of meโ€”liquid metal, if you willโ€”that would love to slip back into those polished boots, don the LAPD uniform, and chase down John Connor one more time. But time, as you well know, isn’t as forgiving as CGI. If thereโ€™s a way to rewind the biological clock, I need to know.

Iโ€™ve heard whispers about telomerase treatments, genetic reprogramming, and even young blood transfusions (a little too vampiric for my taste). But whatโ€™s the real deal? Whatโ€™s science, and whatโ€™s snake oil?

If I can melt down a few years, maybe James Cameron will let me Termin-ate again. If not, well, I suppose thereโ€™s always deepfake technologyโ€”but whereโ€™s the fun in that?

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Best,
Robert Patrick
